Eric Van Der Heijden Cuts List to 10
- Updated: July 1, 2020
Perhaps one of the most talented players Providence is recruiting in the class of 2021 is 6’9 wing Eric Van Der Heijden out of North Carolina. PC offered Van Der Heijden a scholarship in early May, and the offers have come streaming in for him this spring.

His final ten schools include Providence, Louisville, Marquette, Iowa, Wake Forest, Texas, Ole Miss, Maryland, Clemson and Cincinnati. Van Der Heijden was recently ranked #73 in the country on 247 Sports updated national rankings for the class of 2021.
The talent is undeniable here. Van Der Heijden would be considered a good passer and shooter at any height, but at 6’9 his skills are a rarity.
