About Us
Kevin Farrahar ’01
Kevin founded Friarbasketball.com in 2009, and has covered all facets of the Providence College basketball program since the 2009-10 season. He provides year-round analysis of Providence basketball, featuring more in-person recruiting reports than any other PC-specific website. Kevin is the site’s lead writer and video content creator, and has seen FBC grow from a small blog to a website with over one million page views in a year.
Craig Leighton ’79
Craig is a Providence College graduate (class of 1979) who has been a devoted supporter of the program for over five decades. He joined Friarbasketball.com prior to the 2013-14 season and goes in-depth on recruiting, while also producing the Starting 5 (daily links/videos), and writing feature articles on the history of the program.
Kyle Jose
Kyle joined Friarbasketball.com in 2017 and is responsible for creating video content. These highlights include player and team clips following most games, and also taping local recruits. Kyle is a long time season ticket holder and has a passion and deep knowledge of Providence recruiting.
Craig Belhumeur ’11
Craig Belhumeur is a Providence College graduate (class of 2010) who joined Friarbasketball.com in 2011. Craig was responsible for the site’s redesign, and he conducted postgame video interviews with players, coaches, and administrators. Through the site’s podcast, he has interviewed a “who’s who” of national college basketball analysts, including Jeff Goodman, John Rothstein, and Andy Katz before departing the site in 2016.
