It was not a great season. Making the tournament and getting smothered in your first round game is not “great”. 1997 was a long time ago! 4 first round loses in last 4 NCAA bids! PC needs to do better!

It was a great season. Just a terrible game last night, but that doesn’t take away from one of their best seasons in quite a while. Now just hoping Kris Dunn stays and Jalen Lindsey plays all of next season like he has the past 3 games.

Can’t wait for PC to make the tourney next year and the committee sets them up at the dunk….

Not going to win standing around on both ends of the floor with your thumbs in your ass. That was painful to watch. Dunn better stay another year or he’ll be selling used cars after he gets cut.

Cooley has done a great job with PC. It just seems we never get any respect from the NCAA. Dayton was rewarded with 2 home games for what they did last year (Elite 8) Its hard enough to win a road game with the crowd, but, the foul calls early were brutal (the flagrant on Dunn set the tone…….the tech on Cooley was disgraceful-I doubt Bobby Knight ever got one in a huiddle). Neither team shot well…but, the foul shots (30 to 7) and the crowd certainly made the difference. Congrats to the seniors!!!

That was hard to watch last night. Physically and emotionally exhausting. Need to step it up. We have higher standards now

Love Ed Cooley, and still love our Friars. Proud that you could take some of those questionable calls in stride. Good luck to you seniors, and Kris Dunn. Work hard, freshmen, lots of future stars at PC still

Good season. Good coach. However we cannot sugar coat the fact we have not won a tourney game since 1997. The calls and the crowd did not help last night but we did not deserve to win the way we played anyway.

They should be embarrassed by the way they played and coached! That should of never happened and they were not Ready!

PC is not the only team getting a raw deal. The SMU goal tending call was wrong and cost them their season. The Indiana game was so bad that Coach Crean tracked down the ref and yelled in his face. NCAA has to do a better job with these refs. They certainly had it out for PC last night. What ref watches a huddle to slap a T on a coach? He dropped a chair for god sakes. Disgraceful.

It first time back to back NCAA appearances since 77 and 78. Give them some credit.

Obviously not a “neutral site,” and the most ridiculous T ever! Also, PC went to the line only 7 times the entire game! For whatever reason, the NCAA wanted Dayton to advance. Let’s also not forget the BS foul call that cost us the Villanova game with 3 seconds left! !

For all those who posted about how terrible our Team, our Friars, our Heart and Soul season was , should be ashamed. Yes we could of played better, we could of coached better, but they played their hearts out in the paint. Balls didn’t drop, so all those who may have played competively and obvious some of you have not, you know the ball sometimes doesn’t drop like it suppose to. Stop hating and get behind your team win or loose. Great job Friars.

And they lost both games. Good accomplishment but not great. Last nights game was the worst effort all season!

I’m a PC grad 20 years ago. Reading some of these posts are laughable! They are not good, haven’t been since the ’70s. There is no other team out of the rest of the 315 D1 teams that underachieves more! Dunn and Henton are gone and they will suck more next year!
