Twitter Reax: Team USA Takes Bronze at Pan American Games
- Updated: August 5, 2019
Team USA earned a bronze medal at the 2019 Pan American games following a 93-82 victory over the Dominican Republic on Sunday night. Villanova point guard Collin Gillespie led the Americans with 24 points, and stepped up big in the second half, while Providence’s Alpha Diallo scored 23.
I’ll have more impressions on this tournament and what it means for Ed Cooley and his players later this week, but for now here are some of the sights and sounds across Twitter.

The takeaway from the week in Lima? Collin Gillespie and Jermaine Samuels are going to be an absolute force to be reckoned with for @NovaMBB. Gillespie leads the way with 24 in the bronze medal win.
