AJ Reeves, David Duke to Team in AATB All Star Game
- Updated: March 29, 2018
Now in its fourth year, the All About the Buckets (AATB) All Star Game will feature a who’s who of high school stars from across New England.
Providence commits David Duke (Cushing Academy/Providence, RI) and AJ Reeves (Brimmer & May/Roxbury, MA) will pair up for the final time together before donning the black and white. They will team with a highly talented group, including class of 2019 big man Akok Akok, a key PC target, as well as Syracuse pledge Brycen Goodine, Wake Forest commit Isaiah Mucius, Brown commit David Mitchell, and top 60 2020 guard Taelon Martin.
Friar fans will also have the opportunity to check out a variety of future foes, including Cole Swider (Villanova), Marcus Zegorowski (Creighton), and Dana Tate (URI).
Calvin Jones, the Founder/Director of All About the Buckets said, “The All About The Buckets Charity All-Star Game has risen to join the league of premier showcases highlighting the nation’s top talent of future NCAA Division I and NBA prospects.”
“Some of the best players in the country will be showcasing talent that Rhode Island doesn’t get to see on a regular day in the gym. With celebrity guest Filayyyy on the mic, we want to create a basketball atmosphere that will forever be remembered in this generation.”
Sean Holley, Communications Director for the event, added, “When you look at the NBA and college stars of today, often we see video footage of their high school and AAU days. What you will be able to witness in-person Saturday night are those very highlights that will be shown for these future stars of tomorrow.”
The event takes place on Saturday, March 31 at CCRI. Doors open at 5pm. Proceeds will go towards the advancement of Camp Errol Scholarships and Training fund. Tickets can be purchased at www.AATB2K18.eventbrite.com or at the door.
