AJ Reeves Roundball Classic Highlights

This weekend marked the return of the Scholar Roundball Classic at Babson College in Wellesley, MA.

The Roundball Classic is one of the more underappreciated early season tournaments in New England. 2017’s showcase featured Providence commits AJ Reeves (Brimmer & May) and David Duke (Cushing Academy).

Duke and Reeves both saw their teams earn victories on Saturday morning. Reeves scored 31 points in a 74-62 victory over IMG, while Duke went for 24 in a win against a good South Kent team.

I was on hand for Brimmer & May’s loss to Canterbury on Sunday night. Brimmer let this one slip away in the second half, but Reeves still managed to flash some of what makes him a prospect with such upside.
