Jalen Lindsey’s Hot Start
- Updated: November 27, 2017
Jalen Lindsey was red hot over the past week, making 8-11 from long distance against Boston College and Belmont. He’s made 10-13 from deep over his last three games and is shooting 62% from 3-point range on the season.

I was at Mohegan Sun watching PC play Notre Dame 3 years ago,I was very excited to see the great recruiting class that Coach Cooley and his assistants had brought in. I was especially interested in the sharpshooter that was brought in. I was not disappointed as Jalen hit his first 4 bombs before spraining his ankle as he landed on the foot of defender. He wasn’t the same the rest of the season. His shot never really came back during his sophomore year and fans started to give up on him. By the end of the season Jalen’s game began to change some as he really started to defend and rebound. By his Junior year he became
the teams best defender and after a rough start his shot started to come back. I have met Jalen several times at team functions and have encountered a very personable young man that would joke and have some fun with you. I couldn’t be happier for this great young person at the start he has had to a season where there were actually concerns about his knee. Will he keep shooting 3’s at this pace? I don’t have the answer but I know that he will succeed in whatever he comes his way in the future. Congrats Jalen!!! Lets Go Frtars!!
