Twitter Reactions: PC Over Nova
- Updated: January 25, 2016

What an amazing win for Providence. The Friars overcame a slow start and a game-tying 3 pointer at the end of regulation to top #4 Villanova. The win snapped Nova’s 22 game Big East winning streak and 32 game home winning streak.
Ben Bentil was once again immense with 31 points and 13 rebounds.

I wonder if Sam Hinkie and/or Jerry Colangelo were at that Providence game. Love Ish Smith, but he’s not Kris Dunn.

This Providence victory at ’Nova is as impressive as just about any all season. Not many teams have beaten Top 10’s in a true road game.

So Providence just ended Nova’s 22-game win streak in the Big East—and did it on the road. What a humongous victory for the now 17-3 Friars.
