Washington Selects Cincinnati
- Updated: July 1, 2015
Kyle Washington, a 6’9 power forward from North Carolina State, has chosen to attend the University of Cincinnati. The announcement was made on Twitter via his AAU coach:
Congratulations to Kyle Washington who has decided to continue his education and basketball at the University of Cincinnati #PULLEYHOOPS

Washington had recently visited Providence College and it was thought that his decision was down to the Friars and the Bearcats. He was originally an ESPN Top 100 recruit and closed out his prep career at Brewster Academy. After sitting out this year he will have two years of eligibility.

Damn, I thought we had a good shot of landing him. I love Coach Cooley but, like you mentioned Craig, maybe it’s time for him to spend more time with Team PC Friars instead of Team USA next year.
