Eric Paschall on the Market
- Updated: March 23, 2015
Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year Eric Paschall tweeted this afternoon that he has been granted permission from Fordham to contact other schools in the wake of the school’s dismissal of head coach Tom Pecora.
I have been granted Permission to Contact, which means my recruitment is now open.
— Eric Paschall (@Epaschall4) March 23, 2015
The 6’6 Paschall is a powerful wing who just wrapped up a freshman season in which he averaged 15.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Paschall is listed at 205 pounds, but plays closer to 220. He’s an athlete with the ability to stretch the floor while getting 8-10 rebounds if called upon to do so. Paschall can also do this:
He kicked off his Fordham career with a 31 point, 10 rebound night and in two games against Dayton this season he scored a combined 39 points. He had 14 points and eight rebounds in a loss to St. John’s and 19 and nine against URI in early January. Paschall scored 17 or more points in 10 conference games this season.
Considered a steal for Fordham at the time of his commitment, Paschall was named NEPSAC Class AAA Player of the Year in 2014 playing for St. Thomas More. AAA is perhaps the most competitive league in the country and he shared 1st team honors with Georgetown’s Isaac Copeland and Kansas’ Devonte Graham.
He was AAU teammates with former Friar recruiting Donovan Mitchell with The City and was a standout at PC’s Elite Camp in 2013.
It remains to be seen whether Providence will get involved this time around, but Paschall did claim an offer from the Friars when committing to Fordham.

Of course, PC should invite him with a scholarship if one is available. Friars ’69
