Dunn Named co-Big East POY

Today the Big East Conference named Kris Dunn of Providence College and Ryan Arcidiacono  of Villanova co-Big East Players of the Year in a vote by the teams’ head coaches.

Dunn averaged 15.5 ppg in the Big East and led the conference in assists at 7.4 per game and in steals at 2.8 per game. Arcidiacono averaged 12.9 ppg and 3.6 ppg for the nationally fourth ranked Wildcats.

The other Big East awards announced include:

Jay Wright from Villanova as Coach of the Year

Angel Delgado from Seton Hall as Rookie of the Year

Alex Barlow of Butler as Scholar-Athlete of the Year

    Dunn a great choice. I would take Hilliard, Pointer, or Henton over Archie.
