After being admitted to a Cincinnati hospital yesterday afternoon, Ed Cooley has been released and fully plans on coaching Wednesday’s huge home game against Villanova. Providence College just released this statement via Friars.com:
Providence College men’s basketball coach Ed Cooley has been released from the hospital in Cincinnati and is returning home this morning (Feb. 8). He intends to coach the team in its next game on Wednesday versus Villanova at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center at 8 p.m.
