I thought it might be fun to do a little trivia quiz today for a change of pace. Just for fun. Mostly PC questions but a few generic basketball questions. Many of the questions may be for older fans. If it goes over well I will do one for newer fans. I will post the answers tomorrow.

2. Which of the following players never played against Providence College in their college careers?

Moses Malone, Bill Walton, Michael Jordan, Julius Erving, Lew Alcindor, Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson, Dwayne Wade, and Patrick Ewing

 

 

3. Which former PC assistants are currently head coaches at Division 1 programs?

 

4. Which national championship teams played against PC during their championship seasons?

 

5. Three members of the same PC coaching staff wound up being head coaches for the New York Knicks. Can you name them?

 

6. Artis Gilmore played  on a Jacksonville team that had one of the earliest “Twin Towers”. Can you name the other seven footer that started alongside Gilmore on the Jacksonville team?

 

7. Along the same vein, can you name the other seven footer that started alongside Shaquille O’Neil at LSU?
