Friar Starting Five: Sunday Edition

Tough game yesterday, however I had a great time meeting Friar fans both on the Friar bus and at Madison Square Garden. On to the next game. Like Ed Cooley says St. John’s just seems to have our number this year.

Here are links to five topics that may be of interest to Friar fans:

1. St. John’s defeated PC 75-66 yesterday afternoon at Madison Square Garden. Here are some recaps of the game:

4. Bryce Cotton had another great game yesterday scoring 17 of his game-high 38 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Austin Spurs to a 107-102 victory over the Idaho Stampede in an NBA Development League game.

5. The annual National Prep School Invitational takes place starting Thursday at Rhode Island College’s Murray Center. We will have much more coverage throughout the week but in the meantime here is the schedule of teams playing in the four day event.
