A classic. With Providence’s run through the Big East Tournament and memorable NCAA Tournament game against North Carolina it’s easy to forget an amazing senior night.

Bryce Cotton’s 25/9/7, Josh Fortune’s pair of four point plays, Davante Gardner drilling a 75 foot heave that came just after the buzzer in regulation, and big plays from each member of PC’s core.

The teams traded difficult shots for 50 minutes and things looked dire for Providence in the second overtime before Cotton forced a jump ball, the possession went to PC and Cotton drew a foul on the next possession and made both free throws.

The win marked the first time PC won 20 games in a season in 10 years.

    I was on tv after marquettes aftet buzzer shot…the whole crowd is unhappy while you see me on tv screaming “IT DOESNT COUNT! OVERTIME!”
