According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Antoine Mason will visit Providence on June 8 and 9. Mason, of course, was the second leading scorer in the country at Niagara last year and will be immediately eligibility to play next season as a fifth year senior. It goes without saying that this would be a huge get for the Friars, who do not return a shooting guard with Big East experience following the transfer of Josh Fortune.

Dozens of schools have reached out to Mason since his transfer, but he has three visits set.

Mason will visit Auburn this weekend, Providence next week, and then Boston College after that.

“I think the official is Auburn and the others [are] unofficial,” Mason told CBSSports.com in a text message.

With so many schools showing interest, Mason could take a few more trips.

“I have more, just haven’t set them up,” he said. “I’m still narrowing the list.”

There is no set timetable for a decision.
