On Saturday afternoon Expressions Elite defeated Indy Spiece Heat 57-56. Expressions was led by Jared Wilson-Frame with 16 points. Aaron Falzon added 12 points (3-5 from three) and Jared Terrell pitched in with 9 points for Expressions.

Team Texas Elite 60 Southern Stampede 58

EYBL Notes:

Expressions Elite is not the only New England team having a great start to the EYBL season as the BABC also went 4-0 this weekend in Los Angeles. Friar fans should keep a close eye on 2014 PF Bonzie Colson and 2015 G-F Terrance Mann. I have not seen the Friars on any of their lists recently, but we all know that does not necessarily mean anything. PG Jonathan Joseph and PF Marcel Pettway also bear close watching.

Glancing the rosters of the other teams quickly I noticed that NEPSAC players Chris McCullough (Team Scan), Luis Monteiro (NY Lightning), and Kevin Zabo (CIA Bounce) were at the EYBL in Los Angeles. Of course, both the Expressions Elite and the BABC rosters were loaded with NEPSAC players.

Terry Harris, the brother of Tyler Harris, is playing for the Albany City Rocks. Definitely someone Friar fans should be watching.

Friar head coach Ed Cooley was out in Los Angeles watching the EYBL action this weekend.
