- Updated: February 25, 2018
The Friars went into D.C. in desperation mode after losing three of their last four. They left with a hard-fought win, sweeping the season series vs. Georgetown with a 74-69 win, improving their Big East road record to 4-4.
Leading the way for PC was senior Rodney Bullock leading the team in points and rebounds with 19 and 8 respectively, making a season high 5 threes in the process.
Kyron Cartwright was one assist shy of a double-double, with 12 of his 16 points coming in the second half.
Freshman big man Nate Watson kept the Friars afloat early, scoring 10 of his 12 points in the first half. He also had 3 blocks, 2 steals and 3 boards in just 18 minutes.
Lastly, despite a tough afternoon from the floor (5-15), Alpha Diallo scored 14 points to go with a career-high 9 assists, including the biggest bucket of the game with under a minute left.
