PC vs. Minnesota Highlights

The Friars were outmatched by 14th-ranked Minnesota last night, losing 86-74 at the Dunk as part of the Gavitt Games. While it was mildly disappointing given the expectations surrounding the team this year, there was no shame in last night’s loss, as the veteran Gophers looked like a team that can challenge Michigan State for a B1G title.
Kyron Cartwright was the pacesetter for the Friars with 12 points, 9 assists and 3 steals.
Another bright spot last night was freshman Nate Watson, who netted a career high 12 points on 5-7 shooting.
