Rodney Bullock

Rodney Bullock came to PC out of Hampton, VA, where he was named the Daily Press Player of the Year in his district – winning the award over the likes of McDonald’s All American Anthony Barber and Indiana sophomore Troy Williams.

Bullock was teammates with ex-Friar Josh Fortune both in high school and on the AAU circuit and may play a role similar to the one LaDontae Henton plays currently for the Friars. Bullock is a 6’7 hybrid forward who was known in Virginia as a terrific rebounder who averaged over 21 points and 16 rebounds per game as a senior.

Bullock finished with nearly 1,800 points for his career and had two monster games as a senior: scoring 39 points on 15-21 against a good Bethel team, and grabbing an amazing 31 rebounds versus Churchland.

He was suspended for the season a year ago, and returns to high expectations in his redshirt freshman year. Bullock was perhaps PC’s most productive performer on their Italian trip in August, and he’ll be asked to help make up for the scoring and rebounding void left behind by departing senior Kadeem Batts.

Look for Bullock to be a starter from day 1.
