Lee Goldsbrough
Seldom used during his first two seasons and throughout the first half of his junior year, Lee Goldsbrough provided a steadying force for Providence in 2013-14.
The 6’9 Goldsbrough’s modest numbers (1.8 ppg, 2.5 rpg) won’t jump out at you, but he played a critical role in some of the biggest wins of the year by doing things that don’t show up in the stat sheet – taking charges, rotating defensively and not turning the ball over. For that, he was rewarded with more than 20 minutes of play in four games coming down the stretch, and PC went 3-1 in those contests.
