Friar Basketball

Junior Lomomba

Regarding as one of the hardest working players on the roster, Junior Lomomba is eligible to play in 2014-15 after sitting out last season following his transfer from Cleveland State. Lomomba has three seasons of eligibility on Smith Hill remaining, and had much of his first season at Cleveland State erased by a foot injury.

At 6’5, 200 pounds, Lomomba is yet another Friar with great length for his position. He was a four year starter at Madison Memorial in Wisconsin, leading his team to a 100-14 mark during that time – winning two state titles in the process.

Not regarded as an outside threat, Lomomba caught the attention of Friartown after a 32 point performance in Italy in which he connected on 4-4 from 3 point range.

Lomomba could well start alongside 6’3 Kris Dunn in the backcourt, giving Providence a terrific defensive duo.
