Providence got a much-needed win behind 15 points apiece from AJ Reeves and Nate Watson. David Duke made all the big plays down the stretch in the 80-77 Friar victory.

Watson makes a huge difference!!! No ? I believe the Friars will be a top 5 team in the Big East. They have all the right players. Take care of the ball and they will be fine!!! GOFRIARS!

Brutal weekend tournament- but the win last night provides a positive jumping off point for turning this very talented group around. Duke, Reeves and Watson are potential studs. Coach C needs to take the reigns off those three and let them dominate. Offense is way too stagnant and needs to be focused on attacking the basket off the dribble (instead of moving the ball left to right and around the perimeter). Every time the defense over plays passing lanes on the perimeter (where PC has turned the ball over way too much) there is an opportunity for a cut= layup= dunk. Attack mode coach!
