Dunn really came up light last night when they needed him. 25% from the field, 50% from the line. Misses 2 front ends of 1 and 1’s inside of 3 minutes. This is clearly Ben Bentil’s team as he is the best player on the Friars!

I’d like to see how well Big Ben would play without Kris Dunn.

Last night seemed like a trap game for the team emotionally after a big road W at Georgetown and the big game Saturday vs Villanova. Human nature is what it is especially with 19 and 20 year old kids. I hope Ben is ok and good to go Saturday. The good news is Fazekas looks healthy for the first time in awhile and is finding his shot again. His offense is a big key to PC being successful going forward.

Dunn had a rough night all the way around. Lost the ball a couple of times as well trying to get a little too cute with his ball handling.

They said many NBA scouts at the game, looks like he got rattled…uht oh…. plus it didnt help that they couldnt get a rebound…i wonder how many 2nd chance points Depaul had? This team needs to practice fast starts…look sluggish at the start…

Outrebounded 48-28. I’d say they needed Bentil.

This was a trap game…they won a tough game at G-town, traveled to Depaul, and looked like they had no energy. Outrebounded, outhustled and theyre 2 best players did nothing….and they still had a shot to win at the end. These next 5 games will make or break their season. 3 tough road games and Villanova/G town at home. Then the Big East tourney. Bentil & Dunn cannot play 40 min/game and expect to compete deep into March. They need bench help.

What has happened to Jalen Lindsey?

Dunn had a worse than usual shooting night but shooting has never been his strongest suit. Thats not what makes him so valuable. To say Bentil is better or its his team by looking at shooting stats is simplistic. When your best partner is absent and the rest of your team can’t or doesn’t step up, of course its going to hurt your productivity.

Great players step up to the challenge in tough spots.

And Dunn doesn’t do that? You’ve been watching all season right? How fickle are we being right now

Joe Hassett said on the radio that the team was not getting Fazekas the ball. He had made two of three 3-pointers, but still was not getting enough touches in the second half.
