Friars Going to Frozen Four!
- Updated: March 30, 2015
The PC Hockey team defeated Denver University 4-1 today at the Dunkin Donuts to advance to the Frozen Four in Boston. This will mark the Friars’ first time in the Frozen Four in 30 years.
Tom Parisi broke open a 1-1 tie with a goal at the end of a five minute power play to give the Friars a 2-1 edge with five minutes left in the third period. PC then added two empty net goals to make the final score 4-1.
PC will be playing in the early game on April 9th against the winner of the game between RIT and Nebraska-Omaha.
Friarbasketball.com will have complete coverage of the PC’s victory over Denver and the Friars trip to the Frozen Four in tomorrow’s Friar Starting Five.
