Friars Headed to Columbus

PC BET Celebration

Providence will head to Columbus, Ohio and play the winner of Dayton and Boise State on Friday. The Friars are in the East bracket where Villanova is the top seed and Virginia is #2.

If PC were to win against Dayton or Boise State, they would face the winner of Oklahoma and Albany. Providence defeated Albany 64-60 in the season opener, but the Friars are clearly a far different team five months later.

Providence earned a six seed.

    Let’s see if I got this right, we have a higher RPI then Georgetown, we have a higher strength of schedule then GT and we beat them both times we played.. How in the hell are we a 6 probably playing a team on it’s home court and they are a 4??

    Gtown is one and done even though they got a higher seed. EWU is under seeded and kentucky is in that bracket

    So this team get’s to play Dayton (most likely) in Ohio- They may need to approach it like a road game- Dayton is very well coached. They are not a team that makes mistakes or throws the ball away-
