Ed Cooley Releases Statement

After having to leave Saturday’s game against Xavier and stay overnight at a Cincinnati hospital, Ed Cooley released this statement:

“I want to thank everyone for their tremendous support over the last few days.  I feel fortunate to be at an institution and in a position that allows me to be surrounded by so many great people.  I had a tough day on Saturday.  I was exhausted and dehydrated and did not feel well when I left the court.  The medical personnel that treated me in Cincinnati did an amazing job.  I feel great today and I am looking forward to coaching on Wednesday versus Villanova at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.”  — Providence College Men’s Basketball Head Coach Ed Cooley
