In addition here is the Day 6 blog on the Friars trip to Italy:

After a three-hour, uneventful drive from Florence to Rome, the Friars checked into the beautiful Regina Hotel Baglioni on famous Via Veneto.  Historically, the street is named for the Italian victory in the1918 Battle of Vittorio Veneto (World War I).  Later, in the 1950s and 60s,  the Via Veneto area became a major attraction for Hollywood stars and the 1960 Frederico Fellini film La Dolce Vita, the “sweet life” was focused here.  Game time came quickly and the bus ride to the arena snaked through the city to the outskirts of Rome.  From the outside the arena looked like a large golf ball and inside gave the feeling of being in a tent.  The Perugia Wolves were ready to play and their energy was high during warmups.  After trading a few baskets the Friars started to pull ahead by the end of the first quarter.   At half time, the score was 48-18 Friars and the game ended with a 78-46 Friar victory.  After the  game, the team enjoyed a midnight meal of family style pizza and pasta before heading to bed to rest up for their last game tomorrow night v. Tiber Basket.  Go Friars!
