In their first game while playing overseas in Italy, the Providence College Friars rolled over Nelson Basket 135-50. As reported on Friars.com, sophomore Junior Lomomba led the Friars with 32 points on 10-17 shooting. On his way to recording a team high in points, the Cleveland St. transfer was perfect from beyond the arc, finishing the game 4-4 from deep in 37 minutes played.
Outside of Lomomba, PC received huge scoring contributions from freshman Rodney Bullock, LaDontae Henton and Tyler Harris. Bullock finished one rebound shy of a double-double, registering 29 points and 9 rebounds while Henton chipped in 24 and Harris with 21.
Carson Desrosiers grabbed a team high 14 rebounds and freshman point guard Kyron Cartwright dished out 8 assists in 29 minutes off the bench.
PC will play their next game on Monday when they face off against Perugia in Rome.
