PC Latest to Offer Jarred Reuter

There had been some question as to how closely Providence had been pursuing 2015 Brewster power forward Jarred Reuter, but according to tweets from Brewster head coach Jason Smith and Reuter’s AAU club The New England Playaz, Providence is the latest school to offer the bruising big man.

Reuter is a name that’s been mentioned with PC for quite some time. Jarred is from nearby Rochester, MA (under an hour from campus) and has visited previously. His high school journey has taken him from St. Mark’s (Alex and Eric Murphy, Nate Lubick) to Tabor Academy and now his final destination at Brewster where he served as a punishing big coming off of the bench for the Prep National Champions.

This spring his list of offers has expanded to include the likes of Pittsburgh, Gonzaga, Seton Hall and Kansas State. He also told Adam Finkelstein in an interview with Cox Sports that he’s hearing from Indiana and Illinois as well.

Reuter is a big man with a terrific touch around the basket who uses solid footwork and positioning to do damage inside. Providence fans would be thrilled to get a 2015 Brewster pairing of Reuter and Donovan Mitchell.
