Jalen Lindsey Out with High Ankle Sprain
- Updated: November 30, 2013
Future Friar Jalen Lindsey has a high ankle sprain, and could miss roughly a month he said via Twitter yesterday. Lindsey, a Franklin, TN native, was the first recruit to commit to Ed Cooley in the class of 2014 and is currently ranked 73rd nationally by ESPN.
Lindsey won two straight state titles at Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA), and was named Mr. Basketball in Tennessee last year after averaging 19.3 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocks last season.
Lindsey’s CPA career began when he started playing with the varsity team as a 6’6 middle schooler, but he announced in August that he planned on wrapping up his career at star studded Huntington Prep in West Virginia.
Huntington is off to a 6-0 start to this season and has eclipsed the 100 point mark in four of their six games.
