Guide to the First Week of the July Live Period

July 10th through July 14th marks the first “live period” in July where Division I college coaches can watch and evaluate potential recruits at AAU events. The two major tournaments during this first week are the Peach Jam (NIKE) in Augusta, GA and the Adidas Invitational in Indianapolis IN.

The July “live periods” are very important for both the recruits and also for the college coaches to find out where they stand with each other in the recruiting process. Finding out where the PC staff is and who they are watching during these live periods will be a huge indicator as to who the PC coaching staff is going to be concentrating on going forward. Listed below are the AAU events where some of the potential PC recruits and players of interest will be participating:

In addition to the above tournaments, Reebok will be holding an all star camp from July 9th-12th and a tournament July 13th-15th. Some of the Friar recruits that are not at these other AAU tournaments may turn up here. So far, some of the recruits that are not playing the first week include Jalen Lindsey (Southern Stampede) and Quadri Moore (Sports U).
