- Updated: April 16, 2013
Rivals.com updated their top 150 rankings of 2013 and both Providence signees made the cut.
Philadelphia guard Brandon Austin is ranked 45th in the class of 2013, making him the third highest rated prospect entering the Big East according to Rivals. St. John’s signee Rysheed Jordan is ranked 20th, while Marquette’s JaJuan Johnson is #35.
With Rodney Bullock cracking the top 150 at #148, Providence is one of four schools in the Big East with multiple players in Rivals top 150. Marquette features three recruits in Rivals’ top 60, as #51 Duane Wilson and #52 Deonte Burton join Johnson, Butler welcomes #120 Nolan Berry and #140 Elijah Brown, while Villanova has #74 Kris Jenkins and #84 Josh Hart coming next season.
Georgetown (#88 Reggie Cameron), DePaul (#99 Billy Garrett), and Xavier (#146 Brian Randolph) have one each.
The conference lacks any true incoming big men, as the tallest players listed among the group of future Big East players are 6’7.
