Update: Where Are They Now?

Tharpe

Earlier this year I wrote an article on what former Friar players, coaches, and recruits were doing. Here is an update on how the seasons have gone so far for some of them after the first semester.

The Players:

Duke Mondy – After sitting out this past season, Mondy is now an active member of the Oakland University (MI) Golden Grizzlies in the Summit League. After 13 games this year Duke is doing a good job of filling up the stat sheet, averaging 37 minutes, 12.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.5 apg, and 2.8 spg. The Grizzlies are currently 5-8.

Dre Evans – Evans is currently playing with South Eastern Louisiana University in the Southland League. The Lions are currently 1-8 after 9 games. Dre is averaging 9.2 ppg, while playing 28.3 minutes a game.

Bilal Dixon – After last season Dixon transferred to Towson State University in the Colonial Athletic League
