After Kevin McNamara of the Providence Journal reported earlier this week that Philadelphia guard Brandon Austin (#71 nationally per ESPN in 2013) both Scout and Rivals’ national sites followed up with articles on the athletic wing confirming what McNamara reported: it’s looking as though it is going to come down to PC, Connecticut and Texas, and a decision should come within a week.

Clearly, Austin would be a tremendous get for this coaching staff, especially after Austin had reportedly eliminated the Friars from contention in early September.
