Report: New Jersey Guard Josh Brown to Visit Providence

As noted on Zagsblog, 2013 shooting guard Josh Brown is scheduled to visit Providence on Thursday.  The left-handed guard from St. Anthony in New Jersey de-committed from Temple after seeing his stock take off following MVP performances at both the Rumble in the Brown and the Pittsburgh Jamfest, but has noted that Temple is still very much in the mix.

He’ll visit Penn State prior to coming to PC and then head to URI the following Monday.  According to the report, he’s also working out visits with Xavier and Nebraska, while Brown plans to take another trip to Temple once completing each of these trips.

Brown is a player that has gotten a lot of good ink this spring, which is bound to happen after winning MVP at two elite AAU events.  He’s done nothing but win alongside Kyle Anderson at St. Anthony, but may be ready to emerge as one of the better guards in the country now that Anderson (a top 5 talent per most services) is off to UCLA.
