Video: Tyler Harris, Kadeem Batts vs. Marshon Brooks in NYC Pro-Am
- Updated: June 30, 2012
The Basketball Diary is an emerging video blog that is seemingly everywhere up and down the East Coast taping full games (prep, AAU, Junior College, and Pro-Am).
He recently taped and posted full game footage of the 2012 Nike Pro City game in which a team consisting of current Friars Kadeem Batts and Tyler Harris defeated a squad made up of Marshon Brooks, former target Orlando Sanchez and ex-BC guard Sean Marshall.
Yes, it’s only a summer league game, but it’s hard not to be impressed with the touch of Harris who scored in a variety of ways. His three point shot wasn’t falling on this night, but he hit a few tough mid-range jumpers, showed a soft touch at the free throw line, scored off the offensive glass, put the ball on the floor and finished at the rim, and cut well without the ball for an easy early basket on his way to a near 30 point effort.
It’s well worth a watch for Friar fans looking to get a better feel for Harris’s game. Impressive stuff.
